Welcome to our practice!
Fenton Pediatrics, LLC provides comprehensive and personalized health care for infants, children and adolescents. The practice is owned and operated by its physician partners. We lease office space in the St. Anthony’s Urgent Care building but are not owned by or directly affiliated with St. Anthony’s Hospital or any other hospital group. We understand how important good health care is to your child. That is why each child will be treated with care by our comprehensive, knowledgeable doctors, nurse practitioner and staff. We will refer to many different hospitals and specialists in order to facilitate the best possible care for your children.
Should your child become sick or require medical attention phone our office immediately at
(636)-349-(KIDS)(5437) and we will accommodate your child with the next available appointment.
For directions visit our Contact page.
We will be happy to schedule our patients an appointment. However, we are not able to give flu shots after 4:30pm or on a Saturday. We do have a limited supply left in the office. We will bill your insurance first and if they are not covered, you will be charged $30.00. We do not have flu mist in the office.
During inclement weather (snow/ice storm) our office may either open late or close early. The safety of our patients and our employees is our main concern. Please call the office to confirm if our office will be open prior to leaving your home on bad weather days.
If you have an emergency, please contact our exchange at (314) 747-7069. For non-urgent calls, please call back when the office is open. If your child must be seen on one of these days, please go to the closest Emergency Room or Urgent Care.
If we delay opening our office in the morning, we may open at noon if road conditions allow. If conditions have not improved sufficiently by noon, we will remain closed for the day.
Effective July 2015, our physicians no longer see newborns in the hospital. Each hospital has a staff of pediatric physicians (or hospitalists), available to evaluate your newborn and manage his/her nursery care. After discharge, we will see your newborn typically within 2-3 days for his/her first well-baby visit. This visit should be scheduled prior to leaving the hospital.
While we have all enjoyed our newborn hospital visits, this change has been the result of increasingly complex electronic medical record systems that are not readily accessible in our office. Utilizing the services of staff physicians, we have improved accessibility for office appointments and the ability to have newborns evaluated, if problems arise, in a more timely manner.
We remain on staff at several area hospitals in a refer and consult capacity.
